Santa Anang Banak Festival in Sta. Ana Taguig
Santa Ana is known for celebrating a festival with a performance as a thanksgiving for Poong Anna.

Banak Festival was dedicated to a legend, Saint Anne that gathers natives of Taguig. When the farmers and agriculturists lost their all plants and reaps, they were in emergency in stock of food. With the help of Holy Anne and her daughter Mary, they brought the Taguigenos with overflowing banak angles. And as a thanksgiving, they toss dried foods that is known as "Pasubo" that happens in every 26th of July.
Now, to celebrate the Banak Festival, they organized an event where all the schools near Santa Ana Taguig come and perform. The students compete with each schools prepared with a "magbubukid style" dance wearing bright and colorful dress and clothes performed at the front of the Santa Ana Church.
Maybe for now, the festival was on hold due to the pandemic, once the country is healed, make sure to visit Santa Ana Church to watch an unforgettable performances of students!
