The One and Only Tipas Hopia!

Taguig was known for its urbanity, full of buildings, malls, hotels, and other business establishment, but there is a hometown that produces the popular delicacy worth every centavo, Tipas Hopia!

Tipas Hopia is located in Tipas, Taguig City near church Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Ms. Belen Flores owned the Tipas Hopia because in 1988, she has something to prove to Chinese when they are excelling in business. She took the opportunity and started the first hopia, Mongo. 

It was started at home and because of the residents who tried her first product, it gave her inspirations which the main ingredients of hopia is loyalty.

It is a snack for Filipinos and without a doubt, it immediately became popular and Ms. Belen started to create more variants of her hopia, Ube, Baboy, and Pandan came home.

Sooner and later, her boxes can be seen in every places of Manila, our even out the Luzon! More products have been invented and produced, and that is how Tipas Hopia legacy became the main gastronomy of Taguig.
