This year, we get to travel amidst COVID-19 pandemic and we travelled because we want to meet our love ones, we want a peace of mind, we want a meditation, and more to to heal from what happened to us and now, we're looking back in 2017 travel trends that made a boom, captured our attention, and shook our wallets! Japan, the land of the rising sun has been a popular and an always go-to destinations around the world. Countless travel vloggers and celebrities done their vacation and share their experience how beauty the country is. Their classic foods, destinations, and accommodations are worth the hype so be sure to visit Tokyo!


SEASONAL BUCKET LISTS

We tend to go back to our bucket list and making sure to do what is on the list. Most of us are keeping their track on summer or chill-weather vacation whether we want to go swimming or enjoying the landscapes of icy destinations.

We always want peaceful environment when visiting remote destinations and because of this, we want to practice a low-impact to maintain and sustain the green tourism to enjoy the echo of forest, chipping birds, and sound of winds.

Of course, if you don't want to leave your city, there is always a destination where near to you. Another on a budget trend yet less extravagance to sightsee the beauty of tourism.


Conclusion: No matter how long this trends become popular on their prime, in the near future they will arise and become trends with advanced features and will give the best experience that you still longing for.

ECO TRAVEL

Yes, you read that right, ecotourism is still in the next five years because the world is already changing and adapting the less usage of plastics like straws. Accommodations will also adapt and embrace to this changes because it is after all for the better of our land. Actually, it is not a trend anymore, it is a standard. 


TRANSFORMATIONAL TRAVEL

This trend talks about our personality and soul that will still see on bucket lists of travelers. We want to learn something new, expand our knowledge to this new culture and lifestyle, having a moment of clearness of mind, and growing from the new experience. The transformational of our soul from the new people we met, the food we eat, and the lifestyle of their culture.


TECH-CENTRIC TRAVEL

Technology is still advancing over the time, booking in hotels and flights on phone, posting travel experiences in social media, experiencing the techy amenities are now the basics because technology is already established. what we are gonna experience in the next five years is the evolvement of technology. Driverless cars and higher quality of cameras will be present, but it won't change the way we travel, we'll just experience the advancement of it.


I believe that there will be more trends that will soon appear and make a splash in the travel industry that will soon the younger generations will enjoy.

Santa Anang Banak Festival in Sta. Ana Taguig
